We had a delightful stay in our Superior King Room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we loved the spacious layout. The bathroom was a highlight with its luxurious bath tub, and the breakfast was beyond compare, perfectly cooked and delicious. The friendly staff made us feel right at home!
Nothing really to complain about.

Couples seeking comfort and cheer
I was the only one at breakfast, and lemme tell ya, it was spectacular—7 minutes for a full English breakfast that tasted better than I'd hoped for. Plus, the night we spent in that big, cozy bed in a quiet, newly decorated room was like finding gold in a barrel of rusty coins.
Sure, it wasn't exactly a bargain, but you get what you pay for, right?

when we arrived, the staff was super friendly and took us straight to our room, which was quite spacious and clean. the towels were nice, not those tiny ones, and the shower was really easy to use and hot. the mattress felt like sleeping on a cloud, which was awesome! the atmosphere of the place was really cozy and made us feel at home.
the only downside was that the cell phone signal was kinda iffy, and we had to wait a bit for our dinner which was annoying. i think they need to work on their timing in the restaurant.

would like to stay longer
The room was super comfy with a private bathroom that had a bath tub, and the whole place felt newly decorated. Free water, teas, and toiletries were included. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the Full English. The outdoor area was nice too with a table and chairs. Perfect for relaxing before our day out!

Had a fantastic time with friends! We visited the beautiful racecourse and enjoyed a lovely cycle route nearby. The stunning garden and comfortable rooms were highlights. The staff were super friendly. Breakfast was a treat with local produce. Definitely recommend it for a group getaway!
The only downside was a minor noise issue from the bar area, but it didn't spoil our fun overall.

The stay at Kings Head felt like a cozy escape. The large double room offered comfort and cleanliness that made settling in easy. The shower was fab, providing a refreshing start after a day of hiking. I truly enjoyed the peaceful location. the views from my window were stunning. Having a lovely beer garden added a nice touch, perfect for winding down the evenings. The welcoming staff went the extra mile to ensure I had everything I needed, which made the experience feel personalized. cell phone coverage was a bit patchy, only reliably working from the beer garden. While WiFi worked fine, it would be ideal to have consistent signal strength throughout the property. All in all, it was a pleasant stay with just a few minor inconveniences.

The vegan options at Kings Head were a delightful surprise! The atmosphere hummed with charm, and the breakfast was a right treat, featuring local produce. The spacious Double Room with a patio was another highlight, providing cozy outdoor seating for a quiet cuppa.
Our room was spick and span, but the coffee and bath amenities were a no-show the next morning. Thankfully, the pub staff were quick with refills, keeping the vibe cheery.
